The Flavour Library wins Silver at FRAME Awards 2026

First showcased at the London Design Festival 2025, The Flavour Library was conceived by our interdisciplinary team of architects, project managers, and graphic designers to break the barriers of architectural jargon through the universal language of flavour. By replacing sterile charts and technical figures with intuitive sensory terms like Earthy, Roasty, Spicy, and Floral, the project transforms public participation into a sensory ritual, bridging the gap between professional planning and everyday community life.

While the exhibition interface remains welcoming and intuitive, the project is deeply data-rich. Every visitor journey yields quantifiable outputs that can be segmented by demographics, timeline, and origin. By leveraging behavioral design, The Flavour Library strengthens social resilience, fostering cross-demographic empathy and proving that public engagement can be both analytically rigorous and deeply joyful.

Designed as a replicable toolkit—comprising a web app, cabins, kiosks, and visual systems—the project sets a new benchmark for integrating emotional data, multi-sensory experiences, and real-time visualiSation to empower policymakers, designers, and citizens to co-create more inclusive, human-centric urban futures.
