Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and community-centric Project Assistant to support the OBS team for a duration of 12 months, including involvement in the signature Project House initiative and an upcoming development in Sai Kung.
As a Project Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth implementation of our initiatives, working closely with our community partners to make meaningful impacts in communities.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, organising and implementing community activities, workshops, and events in collaboration with team members, diverse community members and external partners.
Identify, outreach and develop close partnerships with community stakeholders on the ground.
Assist in the outreach of community members, including relevant research and engagement activities to understand their needs and preferences.
Assist in the development of marketing plans, marketing campaigns and promotional materials, e.g. social media posts, reels, blogs.
Provide administrative support to the project, such as data entry, communication and coordination, maintaining database.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, cultural studies, urban studies), with at least one year of experience in project coordination or community development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of community stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability and flexibility to work out of the office; hands-on in different communities and districts.
Immediate availability and flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays.
Fluent in Cantonese, good ability in English.
Knowledge and ability in any design software is a bonus.
Knowledge and experience in Sai Kung District is a bonus, e.g. residing/ having lived/ worked in Sai Kung.
