Sharing Social Innovation with HKU Master’s Students

Our Co-Founder Alan Cheung shared onebite’s path towards social entrepreneurship with HKU students.

Last week, we welcomed students from the University of Hong Kong’s Sustainability Leadership and Governance programme to our studio and Project House.

The visit, part of an elective course on Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation, centred on a dialogue with our founder, Alan Cheung, and Stephanie Cheung, Programme Director - onebite SOCIAL. The discussion explored the practicalities of social entrepreneurship: how to identify genuine community needs and the role of design in enabling social inclusion.

Moving from theory to practice, the session prompted reflections on the responsibility of the "solution provider" in urban environments. We thank the Centre for Civil Society and Governance (CCSG) for the visit and the exchange of ideas.
