Beyond the Badge: Reflecting on Hong Kong’s First B Corp Summit
Hong Kong’s first B Corp Summit ‘B:COMING Summit 2026’ took place at the Business Environment Council on the World Environment Day 2026.
22 April 2026, Hong Kong - Our co-founder Sarah Mui took the stage at B:COMING 2026, Hong Kong’s first international B Corp summit. While the panel focused on the practicalities of the certification process, the day offered us a rare moment to look back at our own journey.
Our co-founder, Sarah, was invited to the stage to share the practicalities of our B Corp journey. Themed “How Did We Get Here? Getting Certified”, Sarah shared the stage with panelists - Ms Rachel Mountains from EcoSecurities, Shiba Babamiri from the Baby Gifting Company, Aki Matsushita from Linnas Design, and Gordon Daniel Ovens from She Knows Official. While the conversation focused on the "how"—the milestones, the rigorous standards, and the evolution of our internal policies—the underlying message was clear: Business as a force for good is no longer a niche concept not just in Hong Kong, but across the world.
The summit, expertly organised by Echo Asia Communications, provided an opportunity to connect with a diverse group of entrepreneurs and innovators from both Hong Kong and abroad.
The true value of the B Corp movement lies in this collective intelligence. Whether it is a tech startup or a boutique design studio, we are all navigating the same challenge: How do we leverage our business network for the greater good?
Becoming a B Corp remains a defining milestone in our history, but the dialogues sparked at B:COMING 2026 remind us that there is always more to do. As we look ahead, we are excited to continue these meaningful conversations and to support the growing cohort of Hong Kong businesses committed to social and environmental accountability.
