由今年9月開始，我們將會舉辦五次公眾活動，用五個主題重新發掘梅窩的好事物及構想公共空間的可能性！
Starting from September this year, we will be organising five public events, re-discovering the goodness of Mui Wo and re-imagining the possibilities of public spaces!
我們希望召集籌備小組成員，就每個主題共同構想公眾活動，探討各主題下應開展哪些活動以及每項活動如何開展。
We hope to recruit core members to discuss and shape activity ideas for the public event under each theme, exploring what and how activities should take place.
【主題介紹 Theme Introduction】
主題一 Theme 1：
梅窩好事 Mui Wo Stories
收集梅窩的故事，透過梅窩的人、動物和大自然的故事以新的角度欣賞梅窩
Collect stories of Mui Wo, through highlighting stories of Mui Wo's people, animals and nature to appreciate Mui Wo with a new perspective.

主題二 Theme 2：
梅窩好人Mui Wo-er
匯聚「梅窩好人」，看見及連結這個地方上不同背景、種族和年齡的梅窩人。
Bring together the richness of Mui Wo-er, showcasing and connecting across different backgrounds, ethnicities and age groups.

主題三 Theme 3：
梅窩好土 Mui Wo Land
與土地的連結是梅窩的根，人們為這片土地長久以來帶來豐富的農產品和不斷創新持續耕種而自豪。
Connection with the land is fundamental in Mui Wo, which prides itself of its produce, the longstanding history and how they are undergoing revival.

主題四 Theme 4：
梅窩好物 Mui Wo Craft
梅窩的生產不僅體現在農產品上；梅窩新舊居民的傳統工藝及日常智慧亦是潛藏着另一種「梅窩製造」的力量。
Talents of Mui Wo lie not only in produce, but intricate craftsmanship shown in the traditional crafts and everyday wisdom of Mui Wo residents, new and old are also potential assets for “Made in Mui Wo”.

Reviving the good old days of Mui Wo and filling up the streets with vibrancy, connecting the people, stories and objects of Mui Wo to continue its good and merry.

「以前梅窩…」這句話總掛在梅窩人口邊，不同街坊都娓娓道來涌口過去的繁盛。當我們重新構想這個地方的公共空間可能性時，希望能夠由舊時想像未來：找尋一窩人、發掘一窩物、砌出一窩好事。讓我們從昔日梅窩的好時，延續成今天的好事。
“The good old days…” always linger among the villagers of Mui Wo, reminiscing about the vibrancy of Chung Hau, brimming with trades and exchanges in the past. As we re-imagine the possibilities of public spaces of this place, we hope to ride on the goodness of this place, transforming the old days into the renewed energy of today.
【召集路牌設計小組成員 Recruitment of Signage Design Workshop Members】
路牌對於營造良好的地方體驗其實至關重要。不單是指引街道及地標的方向，精心設計的路牌還可以成為公共藝術的一部分，講述和展現週邊地區的歷史故事、風土人情和傳說等。
路牌設計小組一連五場工作坊，希望與居民和公眾共同設計一套全新的路牌系統，覆蓋從碼頭到熱門景點銀礦瀑布的步道沿線。在這些互動工作坊中，我們將共同探討路牌的位置、收集當地故事、設計路牌樣式，並製作雛形模型、進行測試，最終共同決定最佳方案。
The signage system plays an important role in creating a smooth and pleasant user experience of a place. More than just navigation to streets and landmarks, well-designed signage can stand as public art installations that narrate and celebrate the stories, customs, and legends of the neighbourhood and its surroundings.
In a series of five workshops, we would like to work on a new series of signage in Mui Wo together with local stakeholders and the public. This series of signage will weave through the trail from the pier to the popular Silvermine Waterfall. In these interactive workshops, we will get hands-on with discussing the selection of locations, the collection of stories, and the designs of the signage, as well as creating prototypes and testing them in public.
【路牌設計小組基本資料 Basic Information for Signage Design Workshop】

備註 Remarks：路牌設計小組暫時已額滿，所有報名將暫時將列作後補名單。The Signage Design Workshop is currently full, new registrations will be temporarily placed on the waiting list.
每次參與工作坊，可獲得梅窩食肆$100現金券。雖然我們非常建議大家參加所有工作坊以獲得更全面的體驗，但我們理解時間上可能比較難安排，所以如要缺席當中一至兩節，可以報名時告知我們。
Each participant of the workshop would be awarded $100 worth of coupon at local restaurants. We understand that it is difficult to attend all five workshops, although we would highly recommend joining all of them for a comprehensive discussion and experience, we still welcome participants who may have to skip one/two sessions, please indicate in the registration form.
第一節工作坊 Workshop #1
以「遊客」的身份親自體驗這條路線，並了解目前適合設置路牌的地點和潛在的機會。
Explore the route first-hand as a “tourist”, and map out the current opportunities and suitable locations for the signage.

第四節工作坊 Workshop #4
對設計師提供的設計草圖提出意見，並進行原型製作。
Comment on the draft design produced by the designers and start prototyping.

第二節工作坊 Workshop #2
從不同本地居民口中了解梅窩的故事，並探討如何將這些故事融入路牌系統中。
Discover the stories of Mui Wo from local residents and experts, and discuss potential integration into signage.

第五節工作坊 Workshop #5
在實際環境中和戶外場地測試原型，收集公眾的意見，並以此為基礎進行改進。
Test the prototypes in real life and on the trail, collect comments from the public and devise further improvements.

第三節工作坊 Workshop #3
落手！設計路牌的外形、功能、顏色、物料等，並借鏡梅窩的自然景觀以及其他優秀案例的經驗。
Get hands-on with designing the signage - shapes, functions, colours, materials, influenced by Mui Wo’s landscape and other good cases.
