RTHK 18 Heartfelt Vibes | July 2026

The annual Hong Kong Book Fair, held from 15 to 21 July 2026, is one of the most anticipated events of early summer, bringing together readers, creators, and cultural explorers from across the city and beyond.

Alan Cheung, onebite’s Co-Founder and Managing Director introduces the exhibition design for 2026 Hong Kong Book Fair’s World of Art and Culture on RTHK’s 18 Heartfelt Vibes (in Cantonese), sharing the creative thinking behind his team’s creation of the “World of Art and Culture” Zone, and talked about how the space was designed to give visitors a more interactive and personal way to engage with the Fair’s main theme, “Reading the World: Cultural Legacy | Joyful Journeys.”

The curated zone invites visitors to explore culture through interactive play and discovery, identify their own cultural traveller personality and uncover the travel style that best reflects them, and match their preferences to a local and global destination.

Through thoughtful design and interactive elements, the exhibition transforms cultural exploration into something playful, engaging, and deeply personal. By combining storytelling, design, and audience participation, the World of Art and Culture Zone offers visitors a memorable way to connect with culture while seeing the world through the lens of literature.
